On this very cool morning I pulled out blocks to finish and now they are a comfort quilt top 48 by 60". Whoop, Whoop!
These blocks started from leftover quilt pieces mostly batiks from at least 10 years ago. Last summer I finally made a plan for them. I found more pieces to add for enough for 20 blocks. Each block is made from scrappy 4 1/2" by 8 1/2" pieces, strips or strings that create 4 1/2" squares and some plain 4 1/2" squares.
I'm linking up with Sarah for Whoop, Whoop Friday.
Hope you stay safe and healthy and enjoy some time sewing or quilting.
What a great use of your batik pieces! It will provide many quilty hugs when finished.
ReplyDeleteFabulous use of scraps!!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great mix up for leftovers. Batiks really work for this idea. Great job.
