2019 Finishes


Quilts finished for Shandon Quilt Group which donates to church members and a variety of causes the church supports:

1.  This was my first finish for 2019 using the "Have Faith" pattern


2.   These leaf blocks were adopted.  I added logs on 2 sides. 


3  This was group project- full bed size.  I quilted it. 

4.  The 16 patches were adopted and I turned them into the star centers. 

5.  Made from adopted HST bonus units.
 

6.   I enlarged the blocks on Pat Sloan's pattern "Oh My Stars"

7.  Modern Improv Star was fun to play with scrap strings.

8.  I spent a few months improving my accuracy with curved piecing.  

9.  These fans and additional units were adopted. 

10. The next 3 were all made using my adaption of Leah Day's giant rainbow star pattern. 

11.  The background fabric came from a recycles skirt.

4.  These blocks were from the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.  This quilt was gifted to a sibling. 

5.  Four Patch Swirl UFO blocks from 2007- finally finished and gifted to a sibling.

6.  This bright strings quilt was modeled after a quilt by Wanda of Exuberant Color blog and influenced by Victoria Findlay Wolfe's "waves quilt".

8.  This quilt of strings and curves was inspired by quilts of Louisa Smith. 

That makes 22 finished in 2019.
