Finishes and It Is Definitely Spring

We have lots of pollen in the air and on everything.  Some are saying it is the worst year ever.   That along with ups and downs of the temperature from 35 degrees a couple of nights and 80 a couple of afternoons,  spring is definitely here.  After 2 mornings of working in the yard, several flower beds are looking good.  Many of my bearded iris are starting to bloom.

For my sewing time I have been like a busy bee moving from one project to another enjoying working a little on many.  A dark blue print border has been added to the floating stars and Kathy helped choose backing fabric so it can be sandwiched for quilting.

I finished a couple of mug rugs.

Jan finished the binding on our SQG full bed size quilt for a Wilmington hurricane victim so it can be taken to a drop off point this month. This was a wonderful scrappy joint project.

Enjoy time sewing or quilting if you are not out enjoying spring.
