Even with time in my garden I finally finished the quilting on the “Farmhouse Cross” wall-hanging for church and delivered it to another for the binding which was added quickly. I did mostly stitching in the ditch which doesn't show and did not quilt densely.
Here is a close up of the center.Next I pulled my crumb UFO for quilting. The top was pieced in 2020; however, most of the crumb blocks were made over 10 years ago.
I
used Iced Blue thread to meander the crumb blocks and a bright
variegated “Tie-Dye” thread for the FM leafy motif in the gray
alternate squares. The leafy motif is from Angela Walters.
I used a busy colorful fabric for the backing. I am very happy that this UFO is finished and I even have a plan for it.
I'm looking forward to finishing more UFOs when it is too hot to be working in the yard. I'm linking up with Alycia for Finished or NotFriday.
