A Little Quilting, Sewing and Gardening

Most of my time last week was spent in the garden. I did have time to do a little quilting on the “Farmhouse Cross” wall-hanging. I also took some time to cut all the rest of the pieces for the “Harvest Junction” quilt that we will work on Wednesday at church quilt group.

I finished making my dress for my niece's wedding May 2nd. I have the perfect earrings but I'm looking for a great necklace to go with them.

Kale planted last fall has been a great producer; however, it started going to seed so Monday I decided to harvest all I could. I baked a Sausage-kale Strata with part

(Recipe from October 2023 Southern Living)  and prepared the rest for the freezer.
