A Lap Quilt Finish

     I am excited to have finished this quilt with applique inspired by Anna Maria ( Horner) Parry's quilt “Plot Twist 2”. I love her bold style and fun applique shapes.

I FM echoed the appliques and then quilted swirls in the pods and meandered around all the flowers and the background. Here is a close up of a pod.

It is almost too pretty for a lap quilt. I would love to use the applique ideas for a larger quilt.

     Now to pull one partially quilted and finish the quilting.
