Making a Little Progress

This has been a week of afternoons with granddaughters.  I made a few new Barbie doll outfits for their dolls. The older one made a start on Free-motion quilting. She might find it easier if we could find some quilting gloves to fit her small hands.
Here is a close up of her first practice sandwich. Not bad for the first time. We also have the option of trying out the BSR (Bernina Stitch Regulator) for this machine.
I tried to interest her in using a walking foot but she has the lofty goal of doing FMQ on her first quilt.

I made time for quilting this 4 patch comfort quilt.
It was a little strange FMQ using a different machine but it got done.
Just needs trimming and binding.

Hope you enjoy some time for sewing or quilting.
