I visited with my sister a couple of days and she pinned the hem for my new dress. It was hemmed and ready to wear Sunday. Then I added sashing and borders for the 2 red bird wall-hangings. I hand embroidered the twigs. I laid out buttons to see how it will look; however, I will not sew them on until after they are quilted. All the fabrics and pieces are from my stash.
I
spent part of 2 days quilting my string spider web quilt. I used the continuous
FMQ motif that Jo shares on this YouTube video. I did add a little quilting in the stars. Hopefully I will get the outer border quilted and binding done by Friday.
